Real estate transfer tax decreased to 3%
Effective as of January 1, 2019 the real estate transfer tax (stamp duty) in Croatia was decreased from 4% to 3%.
This is an important news for all the buyers, domestic and foreign, as from now on, the total cost of buying a property in Croatia will be lower.
Ministry of finance has decided to lower the aforementioned tax for the second time in only few years.
