Split and Brac airports to break records in 2018

It has been nearly a year since the Brac airport runway was extended. For this reason, the airport is expecting to receive about 47 thousand travelers in the season, which is double the number a year before. New runway is 1.760 meters long, allowing it to welcome planes with the capacity of 150 passengers.

Croatia Airlines will maintain s regular service from Zagreb on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Starting from May, Brac airport will get a connection with Ljubljana (Slovenia), Bern (Switzerland), Bruxelles, Luxembourg, Rotterdam, Deauville etc. In the peak of the summer, two weekly flights are expected from Italy.

At the same time, Split airport is expecting an increase of 27 % in number of flights to/from Dalmatia's hub, representing the biggest rise out of all airport in Croatia. There are over 70 new scheduled flights in the timetable. We are looking forward to completion of the new terminal building announced for 2019, as the capacity of the current terminal is insufficient to handle 3 million passengers per year.

Without any doubt, easy access plays an important role among the second home buyers. More prospective buyers will express interest to buy property in Croatia if they can reach certain destination quickly and at reasonable cost. We are particularly thrilled to welcome new clients interested in Brac, as the island has plenty to offer in terms of real estate, infrastructure, events, gastronomy, culture and lifestyle.
